I quite agree.
And it makes perfect sense to me that the episode Martin wrote himself is the one I like the most. This one felt the most like the books to me (in terms of tone and pace and characterization). Some of the plot stuff was different, but nothing that really bugged me. The changes made sense given the restrictions of tv.
Great series so far. Again, each episodes exceeds my expectations. Wish it was longer than 10 episodes.
