If it were my life, I'd live and work in Bryan. Houston is an overpopulated cesspool. I lived there a decade. Thought I missed it until I went back. Can't believe I spent 10 years of my life toiling there.

Thanks. She wants to go into marine biology and I believe Texas A&M does their hard core course work and hands on stuff there... but the main campus in College Station would be her first stop. Being that NOAA is in Galveston that would be a great potential intern or work place for her eventually... although she's convinced after college she's moving to Austraila to work on the Great Barrier Reef... and bring me with her there too... heh we'll see.
That's more information than you needed I realize but oh well.
I see that College Station/Bryan has a population of about 203k so it seems like the size would be to my liking. Have little to no interest in Houston.
