Oh c'mon - that was at least a little bit awesome, right?
I loved me some Izzy, easily one of my favorite Cardinals. A standup professional, even when LaRussa kept sending him out there to get his head kicked in. Meanwhile Pujols has been a surly asswipe this year and hasn't seen a double play yet he couldn't ground into.
I'm sorry to say that watching Izzy break a foot off in his ass was pretty damn entertaining.
