People hated the idea of picking up Casey Hampton last year when he was apparently going to be cut. turns out he had a pretty nice season with the Steelers.
I dont see what the problem is with signing Pat Williams to a 1-2 year deal. We have a bunch of cash to spend.
At worst hes depth, at best hes the player we need in the middle for a year or two while Powe hopefully develops.. Its our most glaring need IMO you do what ever you can to fill it.
