I think he's absolutely better than Branch.
I think the only concern with him is the age.

I'm not as big a believer in the whole "decline after 30" thing, because players are better conditioned now than they've ever been, but once that decline starts, it's pretty much all over. These days, though, guys play into their middle 30s more often. If they can get a year or two out of him, it's worth it.
