Would MU be winning 10/season in the SEC? No, no they would not. But they'd still put together 3 non-con wins every season and probably end up around 7 or 8 wins and bowl eligible for a few years before they hopefully make the leap to the major leagues.
I'm sorry, it sounds homery, but MU's winning 10 games with some regularity now and is pulling legitimately high end prospects every season. They're nabbing 4 star quarterbacks out of Texas at this point. There's no reason to believe they'd get 'raped' in any conference in the country. They're no powerhouse, but they're a legitimate top 25 program.
