Because I wanted to see the Rams improve their future, not the result of one game, when they had the worst record in the NFL in Week 17 of the 2009 season.

I think that is an entirely different scenario, BUT
I have never wanted the Chiefs to lose a game to get a better draft pick....Usually at the end of the season we are playing against the Raiders or Broncos or something and its a team I hate anyhow....
BUT
Not really caring about the last game in a 1-14 already lost season is not even in the same universe as actively rooting for a bad season before we have even played one game.
BUT
Having the 1st pick at 1-15 season versus having a 2 or 3 in a 2-14 season probably wouldnt make much diffeence...
So yah, if its a division opponent or an opponent who we can knock out of the playoffs..I root for us to win...If its a completely meaningless game I just don't give a shit but I don't root for us to lose.
So **** that other guy.
