I understand your thinking and would love to have Luck. A better plan before the season starts would be to hope for Carolina or Cincannati to have a crappy season and have the #1 overall pick. Those two may look to deal out of the #1 overall if they have that pick.
Now if we open the season 0-5 or something like that... then we are right in the Luck derby ourselves by the looks of our schedule beyond that point.
Too early to hope we lose them all. Way too early.
