First off you keep talking about Luck and using top 5 pick, or 5 wins. Neither of those two get us near Luck. Only the first pick does. If you think 5 wins beats out Cincy or other crap teams for the Luck pick you are crazy.
IF you are going to say, doesnt have to be Luck, just a top QB...you do realize that the 3 best QBs dont get taken 1, 2, and 3 right. If the Chiefs have a bad season they could get from say 14th to 6th without giving up the world. So either arguement, I don't see it being worth it to sell my soul as a fan. Luck means 2 win season, and trying to get that will be more impressive then winning the AFC Championship.

You and SNR said it as well as anybody. Diehard fan means wearing your heart on your sleeve and putting yourself out there to be crushed. It would be ****ing awesome to have a top 3 QB, but rooting for your team to fail in HOPE that we GET the 1st pick, followed by HOPE that he is so great, its just crazy. Simple point is, if you don't root for your team you are not a fan of that team. You can spin it and call a look to the future all you want, either you are in the boat with us, living and dying with each game, or you aren't. You don't get to step out and jump back on.
