The Bills and Chiefs have had a special relationship ever since 1959, when Ralph Wilson and Lamar Hunt invested in teams that would eventually make up the AFL, and they would be a part of the Foolish Club.
We are two franchises deeply rooted in tradition, two franchises that represent what is good about football. Plus, let's face it, we both think Al Davis is a lunatic and guess who we play in Week 2? That's right- the Oakland Raiders.
This game is going to be close, and will come down to defense all the way. I know that many of you haven't seen the Bills play so far, but with the additions of Dareus, Merriman and Barnett, this game will be vastly different than the heavy doses of Jamaal Charles we saw last meeting. It is true that our offensive line is a weak link and we have young receivers no one has really heard of, but if you have watched the NFL over the last 20 years, you know how much a good defense makes a difference when the offense bogs down.
It should be a good one! I look forward to it immensely.
