Take off, you hoser, eh? The stats are in the book and you can't touch them, but they rarely tell the whole story. The quality of opponent is one factor that there is no asterisk next to in the book, but to me there is a difference between beating New England and beating Cincinnati, for example. Both wins would count the same, but one is more impressive than the other.

People pick apart stats all the time. Like if a QB throws a perfect pass that bounces off the receivers hands and that pass is intercepted, that counts as an INT against the QB in the books. But it's not his fault and in the books anyway. Lots of different things to consider if you want to see the big picture.

Obviously, teams and players don't decide who they are going to play. Good players SHOULD play well against bad teams...but the true test comes against the better teams. Ask any Bills fan about Trent Edwards in 2008, when he started the season beating 4 bad teams in a row and then San Diego. He was 5-0... You get a false sense of accomplishment.
