Just did some research, if the Chiefs somehow manage to finish with the worst record to get the #1 pick, it would be fairly historic. Since the AFL-NFL merger (excluding the strike season and the season before that), there were 244 division winners. Out of those 244 division winners, only one of them, the Houston Oilers in 1994, managed to lose enough games to get the #1 pick.
Based on that, we may have less than a half percent chance to win the Luck sweepstakes.
