My God. My ****ing God. I could live to be eight million and I'll never seen anything like that again.
Five hits, six RBI, a Lidgean blast, a piss rocket, and another mammoth HR. You could tell after his second base hit that he was absolutely locked in, but Jesus Christ. Jesus ****ing Christ.
Big props all around. Master Allen for the leadoff HR that got us off on the right foot, Berkman for continually getting on base, Freese for the hit that took advantage of the good break on the DP call, Yadi for finally delivering a clutch hit with the two run double, Theriot for continually turning over the lineup and playing solid defense at second, Holliday for having a huge head that obscured the ump's view, Lynn for stopping the bleeding, Dotel for Doteling it up.
A couple of goats:
1) Kyle Lohse, for being an absolutely gutless ****ing scumbag, a two pitch pitcher that doesn't have a single league-average offering, and a mental makeup like a 12 year old girl who was molested by her gym teacher.
2) Jon Jay. He hasn't hit the ball out of the ****ing infield this entire series. The guy is an absolute black hole right now. I'd almost consider starting Skip in center at this point.
3) Salas. He's ****ing done. Just burned out from overuse. I wish we'd take him off the roster with an injury, because he can't pitch effectively.
Altogether, a truly tremendous performance. A pantheon Pujols game.
