The whole point of this is, if you are melting down because the guy isnt capabile of being something you want him to be.

All checkdowns are not created equal. Checkdowns that hit a receiver in stride as he separates from the defender is not the same as checkdowns that have a flanker coming to a complete stop behind the line of scrimmage, or a crossing pattern where the receiver is defying the laws of physics to muscle back to the ball thrown behind him.
