It wouldn't totally kill me if Cassel totally sucks during that stretch of Steelers, Bears, Jets & Packers games, which obviously isn't out of the question.
Maybe 4 straight bad games against good defenses and missing the playoffs would be what the FO needs to make a change. Or maybe they'd just use the "well, those defenses eat QBs alive" excuse. Maybe we need him to throw 3 picks against the Pats sorry-ass secondary....
Bottom line is that Pioli was brought in to win championships. And Cassel's not going to win any championships. I would hope by this point most, if not all, of us can agree on that.
