Chiefs had Trent Green go down the following year, so Rodgers may just have been another Jim Tedford QB bust.
Oh, and that reminds me why he slid as far as he did. Rodgers was the fifth QB coached by Tedford to go in the first round. He is the ONLY one that has been elite in the NFL. The second best QB coached by Tedford? Dilfer. Oh, and add in guys like Boller, Akili Smith and Joey Harrington. Oooh.... some, great NFL pedigrees there, huh?
So, looking back, I am still not sure I would want Rodgers only because I don't know that we have had the consistency on the coaching staff that helped him develope into an elite player. This guy wasn't NFL ready coming out and was a project.

totally, its like when we drafted tyson jackson. ANY team in our position would have done the same exact thing. jackson was THE next sure thing. NOBODY could have known he might be a bust at the time.
