I went it to Season 4 thinking this was a very good show, I came out of it thinking it was great.

This is where we permanently diverge. Anyone who thinks "Fly" is "useless" is not someone I can have a profitable conversation with. "Fly" is extraordinary televison, and probably better than any single episode in season 4 that isn't named "Crawl Space."
There are lots of fans of
Breaking Bad who love the cool action moments in the show more than the slow burn character psychology. God love 'em, they keep the show on the air. Of course season 4 is going to appeal more to that sector of the fanbase. I can see where you're coming from, is what I'm saying, though I won't be swayed to that side.
