As far as Beltran is concerned, if 25 million to play for KC for the next 3 years is not enough, I really don't care if they sign him. He will be 29 years old at the end of that contract and in his prime and fully able to go FA! All that contract would do is bind him to the Royals for 1 more year than he will be anyway, doesn't sound like a lot considering how this club has stuck by him during his formative years. I say trade him and move on, show him the same consideration that he shows the Royals.
