Many times, too much is made of the popularity of the band in regards to how good someone is. Kurt Cobain isn't worth two ****ing shits playing the guitar. Yet he makes the list because Nirvana was so big in the 90's.
I'm sure that John Bohnam would end up a top 10 listed drummer but the truth is he wasn't very good. A very sloppy ****ing drummer. But I'm sure a Stones top 100 drummers would include him and of course Tommy Lee would be rated very high because he played in Motley Crue and he apparently has a big dong.
