Freeman did not meet hardly any of the Parcells quarterback pillars.
He came out as a junior.
He did not win 23 games.
As far as I can find, he did not graduate.
He really wasn't even a full three-year starter as he took over the starting role in the sixth week in 2006.
Maybe Parcell's method is antiquated, but it was probably a portion of the criteria Pioli used to assess QBs.
