This team and this city was lucky to have such a class player like Frank. You should have seen him in spring training. Always made time to sign autographs, especially for the kids. Always made time to talk with the fans. I was 36 years old when I met him down there and got his autograph and when I told him he was my childhood hero he looked me in the eye and said "thanks, that really makes me happy to hear that" with a very genuine tone. The guy was total class. **** George Brett and his shitty pants.

Frank White and his size 8 head was one of my favorite Royals, George Brett is one of my least favorite Royals of all time. Par for the course with the Royals though.
