Buck, my constant companion. Retired professional herding dog raised by goats on a ranch in the Santa Cruz mountains. Smartest dang dog in the county. He don't look like much, but this is one rabbit-killing SOB who commands respect from much bigger dogs. Could outrun whippets when he was younger. Helluva dog.
