Sometimes as a coach you lose some perspective. You see Palko working hard as hell and maybe it influences you. You are getting paid a lot but people are human. In this case, I think the fans are just seeing it more clearly.

Well, we don't know what's driving the decision to start Palko. Haley's a smart guy and he's clearly building an offense around Palko's weaknesses. So I very highly doubt he's starting Palko because he thinks he's the better QB.
It could be that he doesn't want to signal to the team that the season is over. Like that decision or not, the team did play the last 3 games (prior to today) like a team that was fighting very hard for their coach and QB. Now that the Chiefs are pretty much mathematically eliminated, I don't think there's any way in hell that Palko starts. I would hope not, at least. If he does, then I feel like there's something going on behind the scenes... namely that Haley is mailing it in because he's fed up with the front office.
