I can't speak for the masses... most will say he was the root of their issues though, but I don't buy it. I always maintained that it didn't matter who was playing QB if we failed to rush the ball with consistency and the defense failed to improve.
Both happened with the QB change - coincidence? Personally, I think Orton can be the starting QB on a team and reach greatness... he's not an elite guy, but few are elite. Orton (like many, even Tebow) needs a lot of talent around him and if "the team" is failing... then they're not going to win.
I think Orton got the shaft in CHI and in DEN... is he the answer for KC? I dunno, but I would want him over anything you have had the last few years. I think Orton can be a good QB and help a team win. So, no ... no animosity towards him from me. And, I wish him the greatest success in Week 16... not week 17 though.
I hope Elvis and Miller land on him early and often.
