It's a double edged sword-it's a great way to keep in touch with family and long time friends from afar but it is far from perfect with employers who check you out and all your photos, people who start posting crazy shit on your wall or sharing all the stupid game requests that make you look like all you do is Facebook all day.
Also, just like email, sometimes what you think you just posted is interpreted in a totally different way....
