I'm sure there are reasons for not letting him go, but I don't think they matter. This is a major university and some extremely powerful, extremely wealthy people keeping a kid from playing football. They should wash their hands of this thing before it turns into a bigger PR nightmare than it already is. (Being a Mizzou fan, I'm happy to watch it play out, but I have an agenda that doesn't favor KU.)

The football team isn't thinking about this at all. The hearing is scheduled. It's not a big deal. The only people making an issue of it are mu fans at this point.
