The "body blows" are that you're not going to **** with HCCW and the staff. The guy has been a nightmare and has been given many, many chances to make things right and he's dropped the ball every single time.
Now we have reports of other dismissed players that say nothing but good things about the staff and administration.
I'm sorry but I'm taking Jordan Webb's word over Brock Berglund. Every player that KU wants on their team will recognize that.
KU should grant him a conditional release to no other conference school in a year. That's the standard in this kind of situation. The kid is sketchy, KU should not do him any favors. That's a sign of weakness.
There is a protocol to these things. Next week's hearing it will be decided. You don't just flippantly say yes or no to player commitments.
