If it's anything like the Empire one, the walkthrough is wrong at a certain point. I credit this to it being created during beta and never updated. You need at least 5 people, and it's definately more of a leap frog/wolf, chicken, chicken feed kind of deal.
Also, you only need one 50, sub 50's can get it no problem as long as one 50 who hasn't gotten it yet is there.

There are multiple walkthrough videos for all the datacrons out there (at least for Republic). I'm sure some of them might be outdated.
