And I haven't read back through to see where I said that whatever diet it is that you're doing isn't healthy. If I did, I apologize. I was simply trying to say that I'm looking more at my overall health. I don't eat fried foods, and I try to steer clear of foods where more than 30% of the total calories comes from fat. I'm taking a probiotic, and a tablespoon of flax seed oil (mostly fat, I know, but great source of Omega 3) every other day.
I'm sure the no carb thing is great. Clay is right, it's not something I can do long term. If I can't do it long term, then I'm not going to do it. Why? Because my ultimate goal is losing weight AND keeping it off. I'm simply getting into the habit of eating healthy foods now.
Oh, and also trying to steer clear of processed foods.
I'm not always to the letter. If I goof up, then I make sure I only goof up the once. I'll also be supplementing exercise in, which will help with the times that I goof up.
