Well I am a trained professional and certified personal trainer and any good trainer will read the current research and know that the no carb diet has NOT proven to be dangerous to your health. It has been proven in numerous studies to decrease blood pressure and fasting blood glucose levels.
That being said, it isn't for everyone. Hopefully her trainer knows the benefits of the no carb diet (doesn't just bash it) but realizes that there are plenty of other options for individuals who do not want to eat like that and is why she did not recommend it to luv. Over my years of training there are only a handful of clients I would have recommended the no carb diet thing to just because I think it is hard to stick to for many people.
It is simple, get in a calorie deficit to lose weight. However, you chose to do that is fine.
