They aren't going away from roman numerals, no one will care, this is a stupid story.

They have been soft-peddling the roman numerals anyway, they always say the number. In 2016, people will refer to it as Super Bowl 50. The L will still be there, just a minor feature on the super bowl logo, a few comedians will make jokes, and we'll move on to LI in 2017, or as most people will call it, "Super Bowl 51"
