Pretty hard to defend a guy who is hitting incredible shots all over the court. Perhaps doubled him, I guess, but MU is so balanced that likely wouldn't have worked. Denmon capitalized in a big way, but he did capitalize on an opportunity that was largely given to him by the refs at the end. I don't think that's too hard to admit for anybody who watched the game.
And I'm never anything but honest. I just recognize that just like in environments like that, you have to expect the calls to go the home team's way (and go that way they did). It will seem like a long wait until KU gets to play MU again in three weeks, that's for sure, but I expect they'll win some other games to pass the time.
