It was a minor factor at the end of the day. If Denmon does not hit the three after the turnover, Mizzou does not gain the momentum it needs. It is a minor factor, in that Mizzou still had to play very well to overtake ku. The play on the court was the major factor. There was a lot of basketball played after the foul call, that is what makes it a minor factor. ku had tons of opportunities to win the game after the call, that also makes it a minor factor.
