The movies based on the writers life. Seth rogan was actually friends with the writer when he found out he had it 20 years ago and he helped him through it.
That's what I liked about it. What are your buddies gonna say or do? It can't be gloom and doom all the time. They're gonna try to cheer you up and make you have fun. I really liked the back and forth between JGL and Rogan.
To me it was pretty believable. Lots of humor mixed with some genuine concern.
The last thing you'd want is your buddies getting all "weird" on ya.
