Thankfully it really doesn't hurt me, I mean it does cut into our extra money, but it has no real impact on how we live daily. If it gets up to $5 a gallon we will definitely be watching our "extra" spending. We've been running pretty tight paying extra towards our current schooling, but we could trim that back a little if needed. Fortunately we don't really buy anything, we don't buy clothes, but maybe once a year, we have a Wii and net flix for entertainment, although we do go out to eat a few times a week. So we maybe spend $50-$60~ a week eating out.

The price of fuel has a direct impact on my income given we build boats which are a luxury item. The last recession hit us hard and I made less annual income that I had since 1998. The corporation I work for "consolidated footprints" and shut down 15 plants as a direct result. It's amazing that the feds just sit on their asses and watch the economy go to shit and act as if nothings wrong.
