With Jackson gone and a wide-open division, a guy like Fleener that can both contribute immediately and present a long-term replacement for Gates is a great get, especially considering the value he presented that deep into the 2nd.

I agree that there are other guys that could've helped the Chargers as well, but that doesn't mean that Fleener can't be just as useful.
