I seriously feel that if Manning really wanted to sign with Denver he would have done it by now. They obviously threw everything they had at him yesterday...and if that wasn't enough to make him commit on the spot then it's probably not enough to make him commit ever. Also, it speaks to the fact that he probably hadn't really considered Denver until they decided to try and persuade him to play there.
