Well, the Lions are going to go back to back at the same position on this one, and it may or may not be a wise decision.
In either event, the blend of size, speed and raw athleticism is just too good to pass up. Better still, with the selection of Minnifield, the margin for error increases exponentially and we can take something of a boom/bust pick here. Worst case scenario is that he could put on a few more lbs and be among the better FSs in the league - best case is that he's the next Revis.
With their 3rd round pick, the Detroit Lions take:
Trumaine Johnson, CB, Montana
Hey - the Chiefs used a 2nd rounder on a Nickel CB that will never be more than a Nickel CB; so why not use a 3rd on this kid?
