I agree its not adding any value. It isn't possible for what she is saying to be true. She will not and can not be a 'witness' to this. There are only two possibilities 1) She is a liar or 2) The media got it wrong.
I'm going to to out on a limb and guess that it is number 2.
A more plausible scenario is that she said "i heard someone screaming right before he got shot" where she assumed that whoever she heard screaming was the same person who got shot.
Then perhaps the police (stupidly) corrected her and said "no ma'am that was the shooter who was screaming"
Instead of a better question like "are you sure it was the same person who was shot that was screaming? 100% Sure?"
In any case there is no possible way she identified Trayvon Martin's voice, as the yahoo article suggested, but if you wish to take that as the "truth" and base your world on it, go for it breh.
