I'll give some insight on the differences (I will put in spoiler tags for those who don;t want to know anything about book differences, but I have not included anything in these that I consider to be a spoiler):
Spoiler!
1) Dany's dragons were not stolen in the books, so who the heck knows where that is going! Major difference, most major one the show has had to date.
2) Jon's story is handled differently in the books. So far the differences are not huge, but many readers are nervous that the show will depart significantly from the books in Jon's story given how his story was handled this week on the show. Jon has some important scenes upcoming, and readers are now completely unsure how the show will handle them. Keeps it interesting at least!
3) Arya's story has some major differences. She is not Tywin's cupbearer in the books, so that is obviously a major change, but those scenes with her and Tywin have been great, so that is one of my favorite changes they have made so far. Plus the Jaqen story is basically the same, but the identity of the deaths and the manner of killing have been very different. Anxiously awaiting the third one to see how they handle it!
4) Robb Stark's potential love interest is very different in the show than in the books. Not sure what impact that will have going forward.
The mob scene with Joffrey and Sansa and the rest was handled very faithfully to the books, in fact a lot of Tyrion's arc and the story at King's Landing is very similar to the books, probably the most similar of all the story lines (which is good since those are some of the strongest parts of book 2).
Also, the part about Theon taking Winterfell and some of those scenes were very close to the books in some ways, but also very different in others. Much of that dialogue was right from the books, until they brought in Sir Rodrik and killed him, that part happens differently in the books and he isn't killed until a bit later. I think I see what they are doing with the changes, but we'll have to see how they play out.
