You do what you feel best, even if i had the power to stop kids from breastfeeding at a certain age, i wouldnt do it, let otherwise normal parents do what they need to do... but that doesnt make it ANY less strange.
I dont need a doctorate, to know that going into ages 3,4,5... is frickin weird... chop up some pork chop for the little suckler & get him a GLASS of milk, like a big kid.

Find me any scientific research that shows any psychological problems later in life associated with extended breastfeeding. Anything.
I know you would love to replace breastmilk with other food, but I'm more interested in what is best for the child. So far, everything I've read agrees with my current stance.
