Cassel can zing a 20 yarder. He's big enough and strong enough, and we've seen him frozen-rope it to Bowe for a touchdown when Bowe was wide open.
The problem is that. The receiver has to be wide open. Cassel simply refuses to challenge corners when they have their guy covered. If there's any coverage whatsoever, Cassel looks elsewhere.
That's why he takes so many sacks. He's constantly looking for guys who are wide ****ing open, and doesn't see a lot of them when they are. And, of course, he never throws the ball away, ever.
