Sir I disagree vehemently. Gates is very much a vinegar based spicy sauce with a spicy base and aftertaste. Blues Hog is very much a sweet molasses/brown sugar based sauce with a peppery spicy aftertaste. I don't find them interchangeable in the slightest....
