Growing up in KS, bierocks were an everyday part of my life (that's a runza to you bugeaters). Straight ground beef and cabbage with some onion, by the chest freezer full. Well, moms has been dead for a bit now and over the weekend I smoked a butt and turned what was left into pulled pork and slaw bierocks on Sunday. From the Volga to KC by way of Carolina.
