He doesn't really have one. He played SS, C and CF in high school (the positions the "best player/athlete" typically plays).
Most scouts think RF is his best defensive position, where he can be a plus defender.
I'd be intrigued to see if he could handle second base. Put I'm greedy.
The Nats are talking about trying it with Anthony Rendon. Would be a question of whether his first step and range could play at that position, and if he could pick up the turn.
Also... unless Myers goes "Hosmer" on AAA, I think he's left there until September. It does create a potential roster flux next season. I understand the idea of keeping a veteran guy who has won and is a great clubhouse guy on the squad...
Maybe the Royals will get creative (like I do in MLB 2012) and install a platoon system that has Myers starting in RF vs. RH pitching, with Francouer on the bench. Francouer would start against lefties in RF, with Myers sliding to LF and Gordon playing 3B.
Too creative/crazy, though. LOL.
