It is a good thing for KC that the Big 12 has rebounded so well. Obviously, for the KU and Kstate fans, but for the city itself (we still have the bball tourney) and with Texas and OU settling down and the addition of a competent commissioner everything looks like it is on the up and up for all of the local teams.
Things will be interesting once this next phase(s) of realignment happens. The ball is in the Big 12's and SEC's court and at the end of this it appears the SEC and Big 12 will be the nation’s two premier conferences.

I think MU fans should want the Big 12 to flourish. I don't understand the fans that wanted to Big 12 to fold. Is it just so MU would be seen as leaving a sinking ship?
