I tend to agree to a certain point that we shouldn't "expect" too much from Sal right from the get go. He hasn't faced major league pitching for quite a while and there's sure to be an adjustment period with that. Yes, he's been tearing up minor league pitching from what I've seen and that's great, but there is a difference.
What he WILL do immediately is upgrade us defensively and that's a big, big deal for this team.
Can't wait to have him back.
When he does come back, who goes... Quintero or Pena? I hope and would expect it to be Quintero but who knows with Yost/DM.
