I could go on and on about Fayetteville, as my wife and I are very involved in the town (she's a small business owner here). Let me know any specifics you have (like reputation of neighborhoods and such), and I'll do my best to answer. The only area I'd caution you to stay away from is the west side of town (Wedington Drive) because it's cheap housing that's attracted a seriously bad element (by Fayetteville standards).

We ate at Tiny Tims/Microbrewery on the square. $2 pints of their brown ale. Since we are vegan, we had a veggie pizza with no cheese. Hit the spot. We are going back in late July for another look around. What is your wife's storefront?
