In a previous post I agreed with what you said about background checks. It's crazy that a private sale can be made to a complete stranger. I think I suggested that any transfer of a firearm should be done through an FFL.

I was being sarcastic. I don't have time to go look back at the conversation but I think I was dramaticizing and exaggerating something else in the thread to make a point. And the apology is much appreciated
I did post right after that I remembered you had agreed with the background check thing. Someone else was saying that law would affect them but I didn't really see how it would unless the person is a criminal. I think that is where my comment came from in that if we don't check if they are criminal, why not just give them to them to save time. Sorry my exaggeration was maybe over the top. I know nobody wants that...I think I know anyways
