Take a cue from great QBs Joe Montana, Trent Green, Dan Marino, Brett Favre, and numerous others. Starting QBs don't ****ing care about their backups. They might like them as people and hang out with them after practices. They might even be lifelong friends. But it's not their ****ing jobs to coach them along. They aren't coaches, they're PLAYERS. First and foremost. I imagine Manning has enough on his goddamn plate trying to build this offense as quickly as possible. He doesn't have time to babysit Assweiler.

Forgive me if I don't take advice about how to develop franchise QBs from a Chiefs fan.
